Built in 1633, it was first inhabited by friars ("Carmes Dechaussés" order) who made a liquor called "Ermitage". The painter Joseph Aubert lived in there from 1849 to 1924 and there are still a lot of his paintings.
This beautiful construction (38 m. long) have also a gothic chapel.
There is also a panoramic view on 7 valleys (including Dessoubre valley).
